El Programa Hispano Católico: Senior Services Program Volunteer

Reports to: Senior Services Program Coordinator 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The seniors' program volunteer driver will provide support to the Senior Services Program Coordinator of El Programa Hispano Católico by picking up and delivering meals to program participants.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick up and deliver meals to program participant’s home

  • Maintain communication of deliveries with Senior Services Program Coordinator

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Utilize technology for workplace functions, including Word and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Adhere to El Programa Hispano Catolico policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Services Program Coordinator.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be bilingual and bi-culturally competent (Spanish/English).

  • Possess or able to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.

  • Ability to work well in a team setting as well as possess strong self-motivation skills to work independently.

  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Successful completion of civil, criminal, and motor vehicle background checks.

  • Ability to support El Programa Hispano Catolico’s mission and goals.
