EPHC is endorsing SB606 - Oregon Non-profit Modernization Act​

Introducing SB606, the Oregon Nonprofit Modernization Act, a bill aimed at improving contracts and support for nonprofits in the state.

 

• Part 1 of the bill focusses on contract improvements, including a 10% de mininis indirect rate, the elimination of reimbursements as a payment to be made within 30 days on a monthly basis.

• Part 2 establishes a Non-Profit Task Force, to be overseen by the OR Department of Administrative Services, which will develop recommendations and include a cross-section of nonprofit representatives.

​

• Part 3 creates a $40 million workforce retention fund, providing grants to nonprofits to help with recruitment and retention strategies such as education and professional development.
